At the shed, we are excited to offer a variety of treatments using IPL (Intense Pulsed Light).

We offer hair removal, as well as the ability to treat a range of skin conditions such as acne, aging, thread veins, and generally providing rejuvenation of the skin.

IPL is similar to standard laser treatments, but less painful! 

​

After an initial consultation, our fully qualified therapists will determine the suitable treatment for your needs. 

​

IPL consists of white pulsed light, rich in energy, transforming to heat when it touches the body, with its pigments converting the light energy into heat energy. The natural pigment plays a role in the use of IPL and the radio frequency current, so whilst successful treatment is possible on dark skin types, you will see the best result if you have dark hair against light skin when it comes to hair removal treatments.

During the treatment, you are likely to feel a tingling sensation with similar feelings of flicking an elastic band, as the light pulses make contact with the skin. 

​

The initial consultation will cost £30, inclusive of a patch test.
